Photos at the Rally to Stand Up to Oil

About 200 people showed up at the Capitol today to help deliver 1,000,000 statements from citizens to the Governor urging him to stand up to oil in Washington State.  For more information go to http://www.standuptooil.org/.  Here are photos from the event.  Afterwards they hosted a great lunch where we got to meet others from the various groups that participated.  So much happening!!  I will post the announcements of future events on our calendar.  The effort to defeat coal and oil transport through our state’s waterways, roads and railways is succeeding.  Of 7 oil terminals targeted to oppose, 5 have been already defeated.  Take action to say no to the largest proposed oil terminal in North America headed for Vancouver, WA. Send a letter to decision makers to add your voice here.

We filled the entryway for a rally to start.

Event organizers were very happy…
